What is the bilona method?
Fresh cow milk is set into curd overnight, then hand-churned (bilona) to separate the butter. The butter is slow-cooked on low heat until it turns into pure golden ghee. This is the traditional village method — no machines, no separators.
Why is it more expensive than market ghee?
Market ghee is often blended with vegetable oil or banaspati to cut costs. Ours is pure cow milk ghee, single source, no blending. The bilona method also yields less ghee per litre of milk — that's the real cost of purity.
How should I store it?
Cool, dry place away from sunlight. Use a clean, dry spoon every time. Stays fresh for 6 months at room temperature.
