From a home rooftop in Lahore to pure food from the village — and still improving, to date
It all started at home in March 2023 as Desi Organic Home Eggs — a few desi hens on our Lahore rooftop, kept for our own family simply because we loved the taste and goodness of real desi eggs. Friends and neighbours tried them, loved the difference, and began asking for more.
The rooftop taught us something valuable: to give hens the best life — and the purest eggs — they need open space to roam. True pasture-raised quality comes from how freely a hen lives.
So we followed the goodness to its source: village homes in the Daira Din Panah, Layyah region, where hens roam free across open fields, forage naturally, and are raised the traditional way, just as they have been for generations. That's the journey that grew our little rooftop start into DesiEgg.pk.
